What exactly IS an Angel
Gathering and how does an Angel Gathering differ from Angel readings
or from other Angel parties I may have attended?
First of all, we all sit in a circle and remain
assembled as a group during an Angel Gathering. (Bathroom breaks and
food nibbling are, of course, allowed!) Each person receives their
Angel Reading while the entire group holds the energy and focuses
with Love on that person.
In other words: An Angel Gathering is a GROUP
experience. This is VERY important. Integral to the process of the
Angel Gathering is the sharing of other group members while each
person is receiving their Angel Reading. What is said for each
individual will have effect on every person in attendance. Sometimes
YOUR most important message will come through in someone else's
angel reading! By sharing what pops into your head, that gut feeling you
get, or the full body chill that comes over you while Jane or Susie
is receiving their angel reading, you are learning to notice exactly HOW
the Angels connect with you. The more you learn to notice how this
feels, the more you will be able to connect with your Angels on your
own, any time you want. And that is the goal of Angel Gatherings.
At each Gathering I use the beautiful Angel Cards
designed and created by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D. There are 5 decks in
all, and I have mixed them together. Each person picks one or more
cards and I simply allow the Holy Spirit of Synchronicity to unfold
and assist my teaching of the 7 Steps of Angel Connection, which I
have discerned after years of doing this work. I also employ my
gifts of clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience to help
each person connect in with their Guardian Angel and the Archangel
who works with them. I provide the name of at least one of the
Angels working with each person and help that person to learn how
they individually sense the presence of Angels in the room. Everyone
leaves an Angel Gathering KNOWING what it is like to be in a room
full of Angels.

What are angels?
Angels are messengers from God (or Spirit, the Source of All Things).
They are pure Light and pure Love. Their purpose is to fulfill God's
will by assisting humans on their path toward greater harmony with God
and service to Humankind. Angels are assigned to humans before they
are born and some stay with their 'charge' throughout their entire
life. Sometimes, different angels will come into our lives at
different times to help us with particular life issues, or because we
request a particular type of help from Heaven.

Does EVERYONE have angels? i.e. Are you sure I have
angels?
Yes, everyone has angels! Including you! Like us, angels are comprised
of energy, but they have less matter than we do. The only reason most
people can't see them is because their energy is vibrating at a higher
(or faster) rate than ours. In other words, they are less solid than
us, but that doesn't make them any less REAL. Thousands, if not
millions, of people worldwide believe in angels and tell miraculous
stories of angelic impact in their lives. Faith in things unseen --
things such as LOVE and SPIRIT -- is a hallmark of the evolving human;
and millions of humans are waking up to the reality of angels every
day!

Can I see and hear angels like you do?
It is my firm belief that EVERYONE can connect with their guardian
angel(s)! Although no two people will experience this connection in
exactly the same way, every person is capable of making this
connection. This is what I teach people to do at Angel Gatherings, as
well as in my book "7 Steps to Angel Connection."

How do angels communicate with us?
Angels communicate with us in several different ways, depending on our
own individual makeup. Some people connect with their angels in a
clairvoyant way, meaning they SEE inner (or outer) visions of angels,
or they receive symbolic pictures which reveal angelic messages to
them. Others are clairaudient, meaning they HEAR sounds -- sometimes
subtle, sometimes clearly audible -- such as a whisper or a clear
voice telling them not to take a certain road when driving. Still
others are clairsentient, which means that they SENSE the presence of
the angels through sensations in their body -- such as body chills, a
feeling in the pit of their stomach or in their gut, or a deep sense
of knowing. In addition, some people are clairkinesthetic, meaning
that they can FEEL the touch of angels brushing past them. Others
receive scents, such as the scent of roses or a favorite perfume, and
this is the way they know the angels are communicating with them. When
you attend an Angel Gathering, I will help you to discern exactly how
the angels connect with YOU and to recognize the patterns so that you
can make connections on your any time you need or want.

What do angels look like?
I don't believe there is a simple answer to this question. Angels are
beings of Light and in my opinion they are most accurately seen as a
ball of white light or a tall column of white light. In addition,
angels are sometimes clearly seen as having wings. Certain angels are
characteristically known by trademarks, such as the Archangel Raphael
often having the color GREEN surrounding him, or the Archangel Michael
carrying a sword. In addition, it is said that angels can take on
physical form when they need to intervene to help someone. The old
saying: 'be kind to strangers for you may be entertaining angels in
disguise' is always a rule of thumb to follow!

What is the difference between angels and spirits?
Angels are beings sent by God (Spirit, the Source of All Things) and
are of the purest, most loving and highest vibration possible. Most
angels have not been human before (although there are exceptions to
this rule), while most spirits are humans who have passed over to the
other side. While many spirits can be and are pure in their intent,
some do have hidden agendas and may not be working in a person's best
interest. In short, angels are completely loving and supportive of our
journeys, seeing only our light and our divine potential. Spirits, on
the other hand, may be better equipped to help us work on our darker
sides, once we have discerned that they are 'of the Light',
trustworthy, and are holding our best interests at heart.

What is the difference between angels and spirit
guides?
Angels are from a specific realm of the Spiritual World – the Angelic
Realm – and are marked by the characteristics described in the
previous question. One of their trademarks is that they cannot see our
human imperfections. Angels always look at us through the pure eyes of
Love, seeing only our brightest and best qualities – and striving to
help us bring out those qualities. Spirit Guides, are a very real
presence and help in our lives as well. They are also beings of light
and service who travel with us, often from birth. Their main purpose
is to help us work on particular ‘soul learning,’ i.e. to learn
specific lessons which are a part of our Divine Life Purpose. As such,
Spirit Guides can see and know intimately our deepest pain and longing
– so that they might help us to move through it and transcend it. Some
examples of Spirit Guides:
Animal Totems – animal spirits – such as the Bear or the Eagle, or
even a beloved pet who has passed away – accompany many of us as we
walk through life.
Ascended Masters – beings who have been human and though they have
ascended to the Higher Realms, choose to remain close to Earth to help
Humanity because of their pure Love and dedication to Service. Some
examples of Ascended Masters include Saints such Saint Therese de
Liseux (the Little Flower) and Padre Pio; great spiritual leaders who
have passed, such as Mother Theresa or Yogananda; as well as beloved
spiritual consolers, such as Mother Mary and Quan Yin.
Fairies – Fairies are angels of the Earth Realm. They are similar to
Angels in quality, except, like Spirit Guides, they can help us with
more mundane concerns, especially those concerning the physical world,
such as our bodies, our money situation, or our love relationships.
Deceased Relatives – Many times a deceased relative will serve as a
spirit guide for a person. This can be a mother, an aunt, a
grandfather, or even a long-ago descendant such as a great-great-great
grandmother. A deceased relative who serves in the role of Spirit
Guide is different from the spirits described in the previous
question, because this loved one has chosen to stay with us and guide
us in a more permanent role.

How does my religion fit in with all this talk about
angels?
In my opinion, religion is a very, very important component in
society, because it helps us to come together as a community with a
higher purpose in mind. As humans, we crave and require a sense of
community in order to thrive and be well in this world. Thus, religion
can serve an important purpose in our lives and must be respected for
its many positive attributes. Individual angelic contact does not --
in any way, shape or form -- replace religion! Instead, belief in and
contact with our personal angels falls more into the category of
SPIRITUALITY and acts as an enhancement of the religious experience,
as each person returning from personal angelic connection brings a
greater depth of spiritual experience to their religious community.

What does the Bible (and other great spiritual texts)
say about angels?
Angels are mentioned many times in the Bible! For instance, it was the
Archangel Gabriel who announced to Mary, and later to the shepherds,
that Jesus was going to be born. Angels have been acknowledged by ALL
of the world's great religions and mentioned in their sacred texts,
such as the Torah and the Koran. Angels are an archetypal energy, as
old as Humanity itself. They are an intermediary between humans and
God (Spirit, the Source of All Things), bringing messages of hope and
healing to an often troubled world -- and this role is clearly
reflected in the Bible as well as in all of the world’s great
spiritual texts.

If I communicate with angels on my own am I
replacing my priest, minister or rabbi?
Absolutely not! The purpose of connecting with your personal angels is
to help you with your specific path inbetween those times when you
seek out solace, comfort, meaning and community within your religion.
We are still in need of spiritual guides and teachers, such as
priests, ministers or rabbis, who have human bodies, and more deeply
understand our human experience. Such persons are often 'angels in
flesh' because they can transmit to us a form of help that even the
angels, in all their glory, cannot contribute because they are not of
this world.

If I have angels, why didn't they prevent me from
having that car accident?
Because we are gifted with the Freedom of Choice, angels cannot
intervene in our lives unless we ASK them to. The only exception to
this rule (known as The Law of Non-Intervention) is when we are in a
life-threatening situation and could die before our appointed time.
Then the angels have permission to intervene and prevent us from harm.

Why – if the Angels are here around me all the time
– don’t I get everything I want?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions that I receive in
my work at Angel Gatherings. As described in the previous question, we
must ask the angels for help. In addition, they cannot make things
happen in our lives without our taking the physical steps to make
things possible. They also cannot help us to create or attract
something that would harm us or someone else, something that is not
for the highest good of everyone involved.
As an example: let’s say that you need a job and you pray to the
angels and ask them for help. The angels will help you in many ways,
such as sending you thoughts of which newspaper want-ads to look in,
or nudging you to call your cousin whom you haven’t talked to in a
while. The angels know that your cousin has knowledge of a job
opportunity through ‘a friend of a friend’. They will plant the idea
(to call your cousin) in your head, but what if you don’t believe you
can really connect with angels and you don’t hear it? OR what if you
DO hear it – the image of your cousin keeps popping into your head
over several days – and you ignore it. Well, the angels cannot help
you further because they don’t have bodies, they don’t have hands to
dial the phone and call your cousin!
In other words, as much as angels would love to help you, they cannot
carry your resume to the exact human resources office that has the
perfect job for you! They will send guidance to you in whatever form
you can hear them (clairsentient, clairaudient, etc. as described
above) and then it is up to you to hear and to follow through. Once
you get your resume to that person, then THAT PERSON’S angels will
impulse THEM to take special note of your resume because the angels
can see that this is the best fit for all concerned.
This is why it is so important to learn the ways that you most easily,
by your nature, connect with your angels. This opens up the channel of
communication so that when you ask, they can answer… and then you can
move forward confidently with inspired action, guided divinely to the
best possible situation for you and for all involved.
To help with this process: when you pray, form your prayers into four
parts:
Ask the angels for what you need (be as specific as possible. Example:
I need a job working daytime hours in the field of ___ that pays at
least X-dollars per month.
Ask them to show you how to proceed to find it. In other words, ask
then to show you the next small steps to take toward your goal.
Ask them to make their signs crystal clear to you, so there is no
doubt in your mind of the inspired actions you are to take.
Then, end all of your prayers and requests with the following
statement: “Angels, please connect me with the best possible people
and situations that will be for the Highest Good (God’s Highest Will)
for everyone involved.”

What is an Angel Gathering?
An Angel Gathering is a unique group experience where you gather with
your friends in an intimate environment and I help you to sense the
presence of the angels who are around you all the time. I teach you,
through simple instructions, how to FEEL the presence of angels and
how to repeat this experience when you are on your own. I help you to
discover exactly how the angels connect with you, based on your own
individual makeup, so that you can be alert in your day-to-day life
for the messages coming through to you. This will help you to be aware
when you receive information sent by the angels after you have asked
them for help.
Angel Gatherings are a time of great joy, profound spiritual
connection, and awakening to your divine life purpose. And they also
are a lot of fun! At an Angel Gathering we laugh a lot, and play with
the angels while at the same time deepening our spiritual connection
to all of life, in every moment.

How many people usually attend an Angel Gathering?
A minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 11 people attend Angel
Gatherings. I have found that 7 is an ideal number, and an ideal size
for an intimate and powerful group experience. Angel Gatherings
generally last from 1 - 3 hours, depending on the size of the group.

Where do Angel Gatherings take place?
Angel Gatherings are held in people's homes, in workplaces after
hours, and can even be scheduled to correspond with special events in
a person's life, such as bridal or baby showers, graduations, family
reunions or christenings. Angel Gatherings are also held in public
forums such as town halls, churches, bookstores and yoga studios.
